Monarchy

  • The king has all the power and it could overwhelm him and the government might become weak or unstable
  • If the king is overwhelmed and the government unstable then other empires could conquer them
  • No one feels important except the king, because no one else has any power
  • The first leader could be great and the second could be terrible if it is through family(this would be less likely to happen if the monarch is elected by the people)
  • The monarch may pay too much attention to one part of the empire, and the other parts may go crazy(army is conquered, or life becomes bad and dirty)
  • The monarch has complete control over life so there would probably be less fighting
  •  the army is under his complete control so there are no generals to disagree with him(unless the monarch appoints generals and they still have power over the generals)
  • If the leader has good control then other empires would be afraid to attack and most likely the people won't revolt

Tyranny

  • less likely that the leader is liked by people
  • probably has harsher control
  • Like a monarchy

Oligarchy

  • may be like and may not be liked
  • The oligarchs may not pay attention to the life of the people
  • The assemblies were persuaded and it may not be their real opinion
  • most of it depends on who the oligarchs are

Republic

  • The people get a say in what happens
  • more people can be in the government system
  • most of it depends on who is in the government and who votes

Tetrarchy(two per side)

  • two opinoins might serve the people better
  • empire could conquer more land with two empires
  • less power with one person
  • leader doesn't have to male the choices alone
  • part depends on the leader that's in charge
